The contemporary jazz scene in Denmark currently consists of a wide range of talented and dedicated young musicians, and Jacob Artved is one of the most promising figures.

At 15, he became the youngest student ever admitted to the prestigious Rhythmic Music Conservatory of Copenhagen.

At 18, he interrupted his studies and moved to New York to learn “the old way”—by playing in jam sessions and clubs, essential stops for any musician settling in the jazz Mecca.
